I am a devotional singer, musician, yoga & meditation teacher, holistic voice coach, music educator, sound healer, community builder, ceremonialist, and weaver of sacred space.  I have nearly a decade of experience in curating and facilitating heart-centered spiritual practices, and over 25 years of professional singing and sacred music experience.

My work is the devotional marriage of the greatest passions of my life: spiritual truth-seeking meets sacred music & song, within the context of loving community.  All of my offerings are created for the purposes of cultivating devotion, healing, expression, connection, joy, & liberation, for the benefit of all beings.  My deepest intention is to evoke sacred remembering of the divine love that is the essence of the I Am and of All That Is.

My spiritual path, practice, and teaching draws most from the lineage of nondual spiritual teacher Adyashanti.  I’m also greatly influenced by other nondual spiritual teachers such as Thich Nhat Hahn, Rupert Spira, Eckhart Tolle, poets Mary Oliver and Andrea Gibson, and the bhakti yoga lineage of Neem Karoli Baba (Maharaji). My own spiritual path has been catalyzed by periods of intensely fierce grace, my greatest teacher of all.  You can read more about my spiritual journey here, in my Letter to My Teacher, Adyashanti.

Singing has been one of the most foundational aspects of my life since I have memory.  Almost every part of my life has revolved around singing and music in some capacity, since childhood.    It has saved my life, I’m sure, in ways that I can’t ever fully comprehend.

In 2016, while pursuing my yoga teacher training, I started leading regular local kirtans in my hometown of Louisville, KY, and founded the kirtan band Anahata Bhakti.  Over the many years of leading kirtan in my community, I started to notice how transformative and healing it was for people to sing and chant together, with the shared intentions of devotion and healing.  I started to realize that it wasn’t just the devotional practice that was transformative, but also the singing itself.  I started to expand on my singing offerings, especially as it became more apparent to me that so many individuals carry deep-seated wounding around the voice, often involving fear and shame around taking up sonic space. It was at this time that I created my multi-week singing course Way of the Heartsong: An 8 week course in singing as spiritual practice and authentic expression. I’ve now lead multiple cohorts of this offering, and have also branched into various song circle offerings, song ceremonies, and private holistic voice work.  The reclamation of singing as our birthright, for every human being, has become a central theme in my mission as a healer and guide. This was not intentionally where I thought my work would take me, but intuitively, it has revealed itself with profound clarity, step by step.  I am constantly learning, as my beloved students, inspiring colleagues, and the work itself continues to reveal to me all of the beautiful aspects of it’s medicine.

In the summer of 2025, due to the evolving nature of my work, I opened my own studio, The Heartsong Shala ~ a sacred space studio offering heart-centered spiritual practice such as healing song & chant circles, holistic voice coaching, harmonium lessons, meditation circles, sound healing, spiritual companioning, and more, through both private and group classes and events.

You can book private and group classes offered at The Heartsong Shala here.
